What is Community Action Assistance Support?

We the People Community Health Worker Corps @ Damien Ministries is excited to offer support to community organizations, health agencies, neighborhood associations, and other groups who need person power to launch, scale or implement a community health education and awareness project program or event.

We the People Community Health Worker Corps Members are trained to provide prevention and awareness around COVID-19, HIV/AIDS, Opioid Overdose prevention, and hands only CPR.

Corps members are also available to support meal and food distribution activities and logistical support for community outreach events/activities (health fairs, neighborhood outreach, community emergency response)

How does it work?

  2. Point of contact completes a pre-service planning call.

  3. We check-in at least one week prior to event/activity.
